SUPPORTED WORK
Open technical programming
Help sustain workshops, talks, learning sessions, and the practical operating work required to keep useful technical programming accessible.
SUPPORT FINQ
FinQ Tech is a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Support helps sustain the practical infrastructure around technical programming, community gatherings, research-oriented projects, and public knowledge that people can inspect and reuse.
WHY SUPPORT FINQ
FinQ connects people across research, industry, and the wider quantum ecosystem. Donations help keep that work possible without turning access to the community into a paywall.
SUPPORTED WORK
Help sustain workshops, talks, learning sessions, and the practical operating work required to keep useful technical programming accessible.
SUPPORTED WORK
Support the logistics behind local and cross-city gatherings that help researchers, builders, students, and practitioners meet around concrete questions.
SUPPORTED WORK
Help FinQ organize small technical projects, preserve source-linked institutional history, and turn difficult topics into resources the community can inspect and reuse.
EVIDENCE, NOT JUST CLAIMS
The figures below come from FinQ's current Events archive snapshot and the reviewed Institutional Archive. They describe records we can inspect; they are not estimates of current membership or implied endorsements by other organizations.
A FinQ-supported team contributed a Variational Quantum Time Evolution tutorial to Qiskit during Unitary Hack 2023; the pull request was accepted and merged.
Inspect source ↗FinQ collaborated with the Quantum Computer Systems Lecture Series on a workshop featuring qBraid and Icosa Computing on quantum-inspired optimization for real-world trading.
Inspect source ↗A FinQ-affiliated research proposal on probabilistic word embedding with quantum sampling received joint first place in the 2025 Linda G. O'Bryant Noetic Sciences Research Prize.
Inspect third-party source ↗“Official FinQ” identifies a documented FinQ activity. “FinQ-affiliated” is deliberately narrower: it identifies work connected to FinQ-affiliated people or activity and does not turn that work, award, employer, or institution into an official FinQ partnership or endorsement. See the Research & Institutional Archive for the reviewed source trail.
MAKE SUPPORT GO FURTHER
Before donating directly, check whether your employer supports Benevity, donation matching, or volunteer grant programs. Your contribution may be amplified according to your employer's own policy.
Check for Benevity.
Many employers provide a dedicated workplace giving portal through Benevity.
Search for FinQ Tech.
Use the cause / charity search inside your employer's giving dashboard.
Look for matching.
If your employer offers matching gifts, your donation may be matched according to your company's policy.
Track volunteer time.
Some employers offer “Dollars for Doers” or volunteer grants. Reporting eligible volunteer hours with FinQ can generate a corporate donation to FinQ.
EMPLOYER MATCHING
This is FinQ's preferred donation path when available because employer matching and volunteer rewards can increase the impact of an individual donor's support.
Ask us about Benevity ↗DIRECT DONATION
If workplace giving is not available, you can support FinQ through our direct charitable donation page.
Continue to PayPal Giving Fund ↗This direct-donation destination is unchanged from FinQ's approved donation flow.
READY TO HELP?
If workplace giving is available, start there. Otherwise use the direct charitable donation page. Organizations interested in sponsoring or collaborating can start a separate conversation without changing the donation flow.
Optional: subscribe to selected FinQ updates. Donating does not subscribe you automatically.
